#FoodTVChat with Emily Ellyn, Mother of the Retro Rad Movement, Season 8 Food Network Star finalist, Cupcake Warrior and Cutthroat Kitchen Champ will certainly be a winner! Check out this video and you will see what we mean.
Honestly, I could hardly tear myself away from the recipes on her website to write this post. I mean I thought I was suffering from permanent pumpkin spice seasonal burnout until I saw Emily’s recipe for Pumpkin Pie Ala Mode Martini. I’m all in for trying this as a Thanksgiving adult beverage–how about you!! There are many other retro rad recipes you will want to check out here. So, a little bit more about Emily Ellyn to be ready for #FoodTVChat with Emily Ellyn. First of all, her Retro Rad approach “encourages everyone to dig through their mother’s recipe box, dust off their pressure cookers, and take the old and make it new. She takes the retro, remixes it and makes it RAD.”
Emily lives in Orlando Florida and is working on a Ph.D in Food Service Education. She also volunteers her time helping Orlando non-profits including Florida Hospital and Give Kid’s the World. She is a sought after addition to culinary events around the country and TV guest and of course as mentioned she is a Cutthroat Kitchen champ, a Food Network Star finalist and a Cupcake warrior!
