This week, Thursday August 20th at 7PM Eastern, #FoodTVChat will be welcoming one of the true class acts from Food Network Star Season 11, Chef Rue Rusike as our Guest Chef.
We know that joining us for #FoodTVChat with Rue Rusike will be well worth your time. Why? Where else will you have the opportunity to chat with an amazingly accomplished chef who is an authority on southern African cuisine and who uses words like heart, soul, and humility to describe her gorgeous menus—
My menu this evening comprised of Heart (Chicken Hearts with Oyster Mushrooms & Garlic Scapes), Soul (Thyme Confit Pig Feet with U Chan) & Humility (Okra with Sadza in a Tomato ginger sauce).
Rue was born in Zimbabwe and has lived all over the globe. She recently moved from Brooklyn New York to Washington DC where she is planning on opening a new restaurant. While living in New York she worked at 11 Madison Avenue, the Regency Bar & Grill, opened her restaurant in Williamsburg, Station and also worked as a private chef. Oh, yes and she is only 26 years old!
We are so looking forward to #FoodTVChat with Rue Rusike. We want to hear all about her experiences on #Food Network Star and #Star Salvation and to learn more about southern African cuisine and Rue’s plans for the future. How about you? She’s ready to chat! Thursday night, 7PM Eastern #FoodTVChat.
See you tomorrow!
