The ASAP in BBQ ASAP St. Louis stands for Always Smoked Absolutely Perfect and if I had to sum up my experiences dining there, I would have to agree. I would also add that if you haven’t eaten at BBQ ASAP located in sleepy little Ballwin Missouri you should go there asap, as in now!
To me, barbecue is a food group and a style of cooking perfected by my dad, so I am both biased towards the cuisine in general as well as highly critical of BBQ restaurants. BBQ ASAP isn’t just another barbecue restaurant claiming to serve “award winning” barbecue. BBQ ASAP serves serious award winning barbecue with a roomful of trophies
to show for it and a selection of some of the best smoked meats, barbecue ribs and sides dishes that you will find anywhere. I can say that with complete conviction because on today’s visit I had a selection from their menu that included smoked pastrami, pulled pork (World Class Champion), smoked turkey breast, burnt ends (listed in St. Louis Magazine Best BBQ in St. Louis), baby back ribs, sweet corn pudding, crispy cole slaw, green beans and their championship Blue Ribbon BBQ Sauce.
Jealous? You should be! I was truly in BBQ heaven.
BBQ ASAP is located at 15581 Manchester Road, Ballwin MO and open Monday through Saturday 11am-8PM and from 11am-7PM on Sundays. Eat in, take out and they do catering. Phone is 636-256-1908. And remember what I said, Always Smoked Absolutely Perfect and go asap!
