I wish I could join you tonight, but other obligations are getting in the way. I’m a Food TV watcher of all sorts of programs, but mostly the competition shows like Iron Chef or Chopped. What I like to see is how they choose to use unusual ingredients and kitchen gadgets. I have a list of what I simply must own one day, like a blast chiller and a salamander (don’t know why, but I really want one of these in my kitchen). I get inspired by the way they use ingredients and tend to try some of their out-of-the-box thinking to create foods with flavor and low in calories and fat.
